The Mercure Budapest City Centre offers an excellent location, right in the famous Váci utca, in the heart of Budapest only a 2-minute walk from the Danube river.

Vaci utca is the most famous pedestrian area of the city centre, filled with shops, restaurants and bars. Enjoy bright and air-conditioned rooms at reasonable prices and make use of the hotels indoor car park.

The Café Vu bar opened in 2007 in the hotel's lobby and offers a nice view onto Váci utca. Additionally, the Mercure Budapest City Center offers an exclusive service, the Mercure Privilege Lounge, functioning as an elegant breakfast room, and during the day as a snack and drinks area with high-quality services and a pleasant atmosphere.

Quality in general.

"Free internet" was announced, but did not work. Staff rather indifferent an not particularly helpful on this matter.

friendly staff, central position in city and near metro, excellent breakfast

corridor in some places little bit dirty, double-rooms in 7th floor not really spacy for 2 people (but clean), but those are small inconveniences
