The former Adria Palace, a prestigious protected monument of the beginning of the 20th century was converted into a luxurious boutique hotel. It is a real jewel ideally located in the historic downtown, in the cultural, shopping and business center. Food & beverage

The Entrance Hall opens into a stunning stained-glass dome with Le Bourbon restaurant and Atrium Café offering a warm, elegant atmosphere under the guidance of French executive chef Laurent Vandenameele and Alain Lagrange, pastry chef. Le Bourbon restaurant (with a terrace during summer period) represents some of the best culinary highlights of the city with its French touch. The cosy Adria Palace Bar occupying the original entrance hall of the building has been fully restored with huge Doric columns, marble floor and inlaid marble-clad walls. The bar awaits its guests with excellent live music with a singer and pianist.

Superior Room (24-32m2)
Comfortable, spacious rooms with tasteful interior decoration in Art Deco Style with a smooth combination of the blue and beige colours, large windows overlooking either the Erzsebet square or the quiet Deak Ferenc pedestrian street. All the rooms are double rooms either with king-size or with twin beds. All the bathrooms have bathtub and separate shower as well.

Deluxe Room (32-39m2)
More larger than the Superior rooms with the same tasteful interior decoration in Art Deco Style with a smooth combination of the blue and beige colours, large windows overlooking either the Erzsebet square or the quiet Deak Ferenc pedestrian street. All the rooms are double rooms either with king-size or with twin beds. Each room with full size mirror an beside the basic in-room-services mentioned with the Superior rooms additional coffee and tea maker and an office set up with all the necessary items for a proper work. All the bathrooms have bathtub and shower as well.

Good location, close to subway station and major shopping street. Hotel staff courteous and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there, but Sunday brunch was good.

Although the site mentions children's playground as one of hotel facilities, it was actually just a bar turned into play space only during brunch buffet and was not available other times/days. If you're traveling with small children and relying on that description, you'll be disappointed, as we did. Other than that, the hotel was overall satisfying.

Location perfect for walking tour of the city. Staff always attentive, courteous and efficient. Restaurant serves very good food and Head Waiter is exceptionally knowledgeable. Music in the bar (piano trio) superb.

Hotels are always more expensive than one would like but le Meridien compares favourably with other hotels in the city.

We are quite satisfied with our three nights stay at Le Meridien Budapest. High marks for the room service. Reception desk was very welcoming, and positive. We were offered free drinks while waiting for our room. Their deluxe rooms are large and comfortable. Ask for a park view room if available.

Very nice hotel. Good location, Kind staff, Nice room, no complaints about hotel itself.

We asked reception to arrange taxi to airport. Although they confirmed the fixed price, taxi driver requested us to pay higher price. Bad thing happened at last moment......

staff was very helpful. they helped my colleague get her lost luggage back from airport as soon as possible. I fell in street in front of hotel and hurt myself. They were very kind and supportive and obtained a medic to see me quickly.

I would like option of a petit breakfast that does not cost 20 E.
